Charlotte & Philip
Charlotte & Philip’s engagement photo session in Vaxholm
My last job for 2015 was a windy engagement photo session in Vaxholm with bride and groom to be Charlotte & Philip. We did the session in the garden of Philip’s parents house on Resarö, the same location as their wedding ceremony will take place in early July. It is a million times easier on the big day when we have met before and worked together so I am really going to try to shoot all my couples before their wedding day in 2016. It gives us a chance to bond and feel what works for them. Charlotte & Philip was a dream to work with and worked their magic simply by knowing they are finally together more permanently after years of a long distance relationship. I just can’t wait for their American/Swedish Stockholm archipelago wedding when the trees are green and Sweden shows itself from its best side.
In 2016 I have decided to start the training of becoming a certified Beloved photographer.
“Beloved is an emerging portrait based photographic genre that celebrates and emphasises the importance of relationship. Blending the visual aesthetic of portrait photography with the authenticity of photojournalism, the Beloved Technique gives photographers a simple way to create meaning-rich, fulfilling and valuable experiences and imagery for those they photograph and themselves. The Beloved Collective community shares the belief that we, as photographers, have the ability to touch the world, one relationship at a time.”
My goal is to offer all my clients a new, real and genuine experience when they meet me and I will use my engagement photo sessions to practice this technique. I will also need new love couples, families and pregnant couples who wants to help me – I will announce more once the course starts in the end of January.
